A project by Au Pied 2 La Lettre, the specialist in giant letters for the French coastline
On the occasion of the 2025 International Kite Festival, the town of Berck-sur-Mer on the Côte d’Opale wished to strengthen its tourist appeal with an installation as monumental as it is photogenic: giant letters BERCK-SUR-MER Côte d’Opale, made to measure by Au Pied 2 La Lettre, the French leader in the manufacture of XXL letters and giant logos for public spaces.
A design conceived for impact and durability
Our design teams proposed several mock-ups in 3D modelling, allowing the municipality to visualise the final result with precision. This made it possible to:
- Adjust the letter proportions (height, thickness, serif)
- Validate the colour choices in line with the town’s visual identity
- Integrate LED lighting systems directly into the base
The objective: to guarantee strong visual impact day and night, while facilitating maintenance and logistics.
