To mark the 50th anniversary of theEnduropale du Touquet, a legendary motorsports event, Au Pied de la Lettre is proud to have designed and built a giant, monumental structure, conceived as a true visual signature for this historic anniversary.
An extraordinary project for an extraordinary event.
The Enduropale in Le Touquet: a legend with international appeal
Founded in 1975 by Thierry Sabine, the Enduropale du Touquet is now the world’s largest sand enduro race. Every year, it brings together:
thousands of pilots from all over the world,
tens of thousands of spectators gathered on the beach at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage,
international media coverage that brings the event to the attention of audiences far beyond France's borders.
For its 50th anniversary, we needed a bold, visible, and lasting landmark—a structure capable of embodying the history, scale, and spirit of the Enduropale.
A strong brand identity, designed to become a must-visit destination
The giant structure created for this anniversary was designed to be:
a must-see landmark,
a natural gathering place,
a iconic photo spot, destined to become a must-see for tens of thousands of visitors.
Visible from a distance and XXL in every sense, it embodies the very essence of the event: spectacular, popular, and unifying.
A sustainable, bright, and portable design
As with all our projects, we made it a point of honor to design a structure:
100% aluminum,
indestructible, resistant to extreme outdoor conditions (wind, sand, sea spray),
sustainable and recyclable,
movable, to adapt to the various spaces at the event,
illuminated, so that it can be enjoyed both day and night and enhance the visual experience.
Every detail has been carefully designed to combine style, durability, and longevity—without compromise.
A source of immense pride for the teams at Au Pied 2 la Lettre
Creating a structure to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Enduropale du Touquet is a source of immense pride for the entire team atAu Pied de la Lettre.
In our workshops, this project involved:
technical expertise,
accuracy,
and, above all, a lot of heart.
Because behind every monumental structure are passionate men and women driven by the desire to create enduring symbols that leave a lasting impression and tell a story.
When a structure becomes a symbol
With this project, we are convinced of one thing:
– this structure will not merely be a backdrop,
– it will become a symbol of the Enduropale’s 50th anniversary,
– a landmark, a memory, an image shared thousands of times.
Making a big impact.
That’s exactly what drives us.
